The Wagoner's basement is under construction! We are putting a bathroom in the basement. The work started a week ago and is progressing pretty quickly! We had a utility room that is now being converted to a hallway with a bathroom to the left. It will have a stand up shower, toilet, vanity and linen closet and get this....on the wall behind the second door there will be an urinal! As most of you know, I live with 4 boys and this seems to be a real big deal to them! I am sure it will be quite a conversation piece and I am sure that it will be something the boys will always remember and talk about! As the only female, I guess I do not quite understand it, but as the saying goes..."If you cannot beat them join them" so I am joining in on their excitement! Can I just say, hopefully they can hit the urinal a little better than they do the toilet!
The second picture shows the opening that was cut out on the way down the basement. It used to be closed in but we decided to open it up. I really like it. They are going to put some rails in. They have also raised the ceiling to 9 ft and took out the drop ceiling on this part of the basement only. When the money tree in the back yard gets some water we may be able to finish the rest of the basement! Just taking it one step at a time.
Notice the tile floor... Jim did that this Labor Day weekend and it looks really good! I will update with pictures once it is finished.

Wow, it looks really good. I am glad you put it on your blog. Mom was telling me about it and I wanted to see it. I am glad the boys are excited about the urinal!
